Children are attracted to sugary snacks that carry packaging with images of cartoon characters, according to a new study.
Researchers at Yale University said 73 to 88% of the children included in the study chose snacks with the character on the package, while 50 to 55% said the foods tasted better from packages with the cartoon characters.
About 50% of children asked thought carrots tasted better from a cartoon-decorated package.
